At the centre of our parish life is the celebration of the Divine Liturgy. At the Divine Liturgy we rededicate our lives, encounter the Word of God, offer the Holy Gifts and partake of them for the sanctification and healing of our souls and bodies. The Divine Liturgy is celebrated every Sunday at 9:30am, with the Third and Sixth Hours preceding at 9:10am. In preparation for the Divine Liturgy, parishioners are encouraged to attend the weekly Saturday Vespers service at 6:00pm.

All parishioners are encouraged and expected to partake of Holy Communion at every Divine Liturgy, at the Vesperal Liturgy on Feast Days and at the Presanctified Liturgies during Great Lent. In preparation for receiving Holy Communion on a frequent and regular basis, each one should participate at the Common Confessions after Vespers on the first Saturday monthly. For Orthodox Christians, it is traditional to fast from all food and drink from midnight until receiving Holy Communion at a Divine Liturgy celebrated in the morning. Receiving Holy Communion at a Vesperal or Presanctified Liturgy requires fasting from noon.

We welcome everyone joining us in worship. Unfortunately, one of the sad results of the schisms among Christians is that we can offer Holy Communion only to Orthodox Christians. We believe that the Eucharist is a final sign of union among Christians (and not a way that such unity might be achieved). We are happy to have others attend, and we invite all to partake of the antidoron (the blessed bread) offered at the conclusion of the Liturgy.

A complete and continuously updated schedule of services for each week is available as a recorded message on the Church's answering machine in 4 languages (English, French, Greek, and Russian) by calling 514-934-0539. With the exception of Holy Week, we follow a policy of having any evening service begin at 6:00 PM on weekends and 6:10 PM on weekdays, and any morning service begin at 9:30 AM. The primary (about 95%) language of services is English with some French and a little Greek and Slavonic included in most services. We follow the new calendar and our Patronal Feast is celebrated on the Sunday closest to November 27.
